One of our most remote expeditions — ascending from Binsar to Munsiyari and then deep into Darma Valley for ultra-rare high-altitude species. Satyr Tragopan, Spectacled Finch, Himalayan Monal, and many more await.
Our guide's knowledge of bird calls was extraordinary. He heard a Satyr Tragopan before we even had our binoculars out. Best birding trip of my life — I spotted 134 species in 6 days!
Seeing the Black-necked Crane in Ladakh was on my bucket list for years. Our guide made it happen on day two — and then proceeded to find 11 more lifers. Absolutely magical.
As a complete beginner I was nervous. But the patience, warmth, and passion turned me into a lifelong birder. Sattal is now my second home. Already booked my second trip!
